Darren Shane
Darren has been a Personal Fitness Trainer in Canada and Japan for the past ten years. For him, fitness and a commitment to healthy living have been a part of his lifestyle for many years. Playing in high level competitive sports such as ice hockey and baseball have been just a few of the sports that have made up his regimen of personal fitness over the years. In addition to strength training, Darren regularly goes cycling, running, and hiking, which have all complimented his overall level of fitness. Darren incorporates both Fitness and Yoga into his training sessions as a way of bringing Balance, Strength, Flexibility, Meditation and Movement together.
In his work with his clients, he brings the same commitment, passion, and energy on a daily basis. Darren’s workouts with his clients are characterized by a variety of cardio and strength training routines which include many functional training tools, suspension gym training, balance balls, kickboxing with heavy bags and hand targets, yoga, stretching, nutrition guidance, and building a bond of trust and friendship. Above all, he believes a positive attitude towards life, a commitment towards one’s well-being, and maintaining a healthy balance between work and leisure is paramount.
Masumi Shane
Masumi was first introduced to Yoga in 2004.
When she first started practicing Yoga it was very hard for her body and mind. She knew that a major change in her life was needed.
In 2005, she moved to Vancouver, Canada to be with her husband Darren. Since 2006, Masumi has completed 200 hours of Hatha Yoga at Open Door in Vancouver, and has completed 200 hours Vinyasa Yoga with Eoin Finn, and currently has finished the Anusara immersion in Seattle with Denise and Rainey from Seattle Yoga Arts.
Yoga has brought much happiness, and to receive big passion and love from her meditation practice.
